Ross Commercial Finance had a standout night at the NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2026. The firm was named Scottish Broker of the Year for the second consecutive year, was highly commended in Commercial Mortgage Broker of the Year 2026, and saw Managing Director Emma Ross receive the Women’s Advocate Award 2026.
The winners were announced at a ceremony at Lancashire Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, on Friday 11 September 2026. The NACFB Awards are among the most respected UK commercial finance awards and are dedicated exclusively to brokers. This year was a blast as there were more than 430 entries across 26 categories, a record-breaking figure for the event.
Winners are decided by combining an independent judging panel’s scores with votes from NACFB Patron lenders and Partner suppliers, so each of the results reflects both expert assessment and the confidence of the lending community.
Emma Ross Wins the Women’s Advocate Award 2026
The highlight of the night was Emma Ross receiving the Women’s Advocate Award 2026. The award is new to the NACFB programme and recognised an individual or organisation that has shown a clear and sustained commitment to championing and advancing the role of women within the commercial finance industry.
Commercial finance is still considered male-dominated at senior levels. Against that mindset, the award gives recognition for more than business success. It honours the example Emma has set as a founder and leader: building a respected brokerage from Scotland, mentoring others, and being visible in a sector where women are still underrepresented at the top.
